This privacy notice sets out how Dog Haven Walking and Adventure Park uses and protects any information that you give us. 

Dog Haven is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy notice. Dog Haven may change this policy from time to time and will update clients directly should it do so and amend the website for all non-clients.

To ensure that we treat your personal details with care we promise to: -

v Name – so that we can track payments and bookings

v Contact information including email address – so that we can send you a confirmation email of the booking, the gate code and let you know if there are any problems with your booking

v Internal record keeping. We may use the information to improve our products and services and will use it to keep your record up to date

By submitting your personal information and indicating that you would like to receive further information from us, you consent to us using your personal information in the above ways.

v If you are a client will keep your information on our secure database and regularly check to ensure we hold the most current details for you

v If you are not currently a client but have asked us to keep in touch, we will contact you to update you about new events or experiences at Dog Haven

Based on privacy by design and taking a risk-based approach, the GDPR has been designed to meet the requirements of the digital age. The new Regulation aims to standardise data protection laws and processing across the EU; affording individuals stronger, more consistent rights to access and control their personal information.

Dog Haven (‘we’ or ‘us’ or ‘our’) are committed to ensuring the security and protection of the personal information that we process, and to provide a compliant and consistent approach to data protection. We have always had a robust and effective data protection program in place which complies with existing law and abides by the data protection principles. However, we recognise our obligations in updating and expanding this program to meet the demands of the GDPR and the UK’s Data Protection Bill.

Dog Haven takes the privacy and security of individuals and their personal information very seriously and take every reasonable measure and precaution to protect and secure the personal data that we process. We have robust information security policies and procedures in place to protect personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction and have several layers of security measures.
